No Cap ("we," "our," or "the app") is built for convertible car owners. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We keep things simple — we collect as little as possible.

Information We Collect

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address. This is used solely to identify your account and restore your settings and subscription across devices.

Location
No Cap uses your device location to fetch real-time and forecasted weather conditions for your area. Your location is sent to Open-Meteo (an open-source weather API) to retrieve weather data. We do not store your location on our servers, and your location is never linked to your identity or shared with advertisers.

Car Photo
If you upload a photo of your car, it is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to any server.

Usage Preferences
Your score weight preferences, notification settings, and other in-app settings are stored locally on your device and in your account record in Firebase (Google Cloud) to sync across devices.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name

• We do not track your driving behavior or routes

• We do not collect crash data or analytics beyond what Apple provides to all developers

• We do not sell your data to anyone

• We do not display ads

Third-Party Services

No Cap uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Firebase (Google) — account authentication and cloud storage of your preferences. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

• Open-Meteo — weather data. Your device location is sent to their API to retrieve conditions. No account or personal data is transmitted. See Open-Meteo terms.

• RevenueCat — subscription management for No Cap Pro. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

• Apple — if you use Sign in with Apple, your authentication is handled by Apple. We receive only a unique identifier, not your email address unless you choose to share it.

Data Retention

Your account data (email address and preferences) is retained as long as your account exists. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us at powerjensen@outlook.com and we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

No Cap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at powerjensen@outlook.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
